What a great $5 Indian! We unhesitatingly rank it , VERY HIGH END!
Using a strong glass and looking all over, we pronounce the obverse an MS66. The reverse has one SMALL and light mark in the LEFT field (you need a glass to see it). The dreaded right reverse is incredibly clean (go figure). Both sides have a light luster. The color is a GEM original pale gold. There are no spots or discolorations. The Indian and every detail is frosty and and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is unbeatable!
PCGS 124, NGC 64, CAC 22. PCGS has graded 14 in MS65+. These are impossible to find in MS65 and higher. Only 3 are beaned in MS66. The price guides are all behind here.
