This coin is a GEM ORIGINAL AU58+. We hardly ever see these D Mint coins looking so good. We rank this coin VERY HIGH END!

Not a beat up coin. There are a few tiny dings and lines that can only be seen with a strong glass. Nothing stands out. We do not generally see many $5 D Mint coins with a strong original luster like this coin has. No imagination needed. No question this coin is original and was never messed with. There is a light touch of “dirty” toning-again its light (we do not buy the ugly ones). Surprisngly, Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. All wear is light and is hard to find. The eye appeal is really nice!

PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 3. This is the lone PCGS AU58+. PCGS or NGC have graded NO coins higher. This coin last sold in the Fairmont Sale in 2022 for $36,000.00. The current Collectors Universe value is $42,500.00. As time goes on, this coin should retain its lofty position as the finest LG Date 60-D! We really do like this coin too.
