As the title says, this coin is really HIGH END! Now do not be confused. Because it is nice, we rank it SUPER HIGH END on our scale.
Ridiculously clean and smooth surfaces adorn both sides. We used a strong glass and really could not find anything more than a few widely scattered tiny ticks. There is a soft luster. A wonderful and totally original mix of deeper pewter/silver color swirls all over. There are no highpoint dark spots. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is super GEMMY!
PCGS 69, NGC 68, CAC 21. We’d bet this coin has been to the grading services more than once (no promises). Do NOT be fooled by the pops. In 2021 one sold for $9,000.00 at auction. Like with so many coins today, the price guides are way behind. A PCGS CAC MS 65 would run you close to $30,000.00-if you could even find one. If you are super picky and will only accept a SUPER HIGH END coin with great looks, this is your coin!
