COINS ARE SELLING
Anyone have any extra PCGS CAC MS66 Saints? We could use 100! Or how about some GEM Non 80S DMPL Morgans in MS65 and higher (prefer no O mints). We know GEM AU Bust coins are a fight and a dream to obtain. And then there is all better gold. Two weeks ago we had purchased an incredible circ big gold piece-and we were offered money to cancel the deal before it even got to our office!
NOT every coin is selling, but people clearly ARE buying. Buyers today are educated. They Want PCGS CAC. That’s why PCGS CAC coins sell for the premiums they do. In the past 45 days, the market has cleaned itself up of an huge amount of low end dreck gold-which has made many dealers quite liquid all of the sudden.
As we have been saying, why buy stocks and bonds when coins held up far better? The government is printing more and more money every day and borrowing like mad to keep the economy going. Smart money is poring into Hard Assets from a few dollars per coins to millions per deal. We see what the big guys are doing and we hear what the smaller collectors are seeking. This is all fact, not a pipe dream.
Our NEWPS already have sold 4 coins since we posted them later this AM. This past week we had a $10 1907 Indian PCGS MS66 CAC $16,500.00 as coin of the week-it had 4 serious buyers! Each buyer came to us with in 20 minutes of the email going out.
The ONLY thing that will slow or stop this train right now-LACK OF SUPPLY. We have to pay a little more every day to buy the better coins. Still, we know of no other $10 1907’s out there. We can’t buy any more GEM AU Type (bigger coins). And Proof gold? We’re talking $10’s and $20’s are no where to be found at any price. We are having word class problems refilling the tank with what we want. Do not hesitate to offer us your coins. We’ll make the best offers we can. For now, the market is moving far ahead from the disastrous April we all waddled through. And we see Wall Street folks buying coins and gold. They are always ahead of the curve.
Just imagine where the market will be when everyone pulls their heads out of the mud and sees what they need to do or where they need to be. We have always said, a fraction of a percent into coins really will pump it up (the market) beyond anyone’s wildest thoughts. We think its happening in kind of a slow motion now.
Many people know, their coin collections are one of the best investments they can ever make if they are done right (and the key is doing it right). We can make that happen easily and have the proven track record.
WHEN BUYING GENERIC GOLD $20 If you are buying generic gold, do NOT pay retail prices. Ask what the bids are and have the dealer create a spread. Marks ups of over 10% are wrong for any generic -unless its exceedingly high end and you will not do well overpaying like otherwise.
A SAD PASSING
A long time dealer John Paschuti of Mass has died. Age not sure sure (we think 78). We are sad to hear this.
When we were little babies in this biz in 1978 we first met him at the old Boston Show. Johnny made us rich during the 1980 gold boom. He was so easy to deal with. he actually made markets in PR Three Cent Nickels! We’d walk a coin over from one side of the room and he would pay us a good profit. We loved to do shows with him back then.
He was smart and funny. He always made us laugh. He was known to be one of the best salesman ever in the world!
May he rest in peace.

We do believe s consumer confidence grows and hard assets keep showing proven stablity, even more collectors will emerge. Fortunately the I word (investors) have not come around yet to really drive prices nutso.
As you can see, collectors know and trust our descriptions. We will NOT accept a coin that is cleaned or has serious problems. And we certainly WILL mention it in a description (some times you have to accept a few questionable coins with bigger deals).
