We had to buy this totally original SUPER HIGH END piece! We do NOT see these offered for sale any more. THIS IS A GEM AU50 UNMESSED WITH PIECE!
This piece has superior and pleasing surfaces (aka: “original skin”). There are no real hits or problems. Only when you use a strong glass and look hard, you can find a light line or tick or two-heck its only 225 years old! There is some faint muted luster. Both sides are a moderate to deeper original golden brown/deep champagne/olive color. This is NOT a dull or drab coin and this is NOT a scrubbed up or retoned coin (you will NOT get that when a coin has a CAC bean). Miss Liberty and the details are well struck but to show light even wear. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 11, NGC 6, CAC 2. The current PCGS CAC value is $17,800.00. Forget about what similar 1795’s have sold for. 90% of them do not come close to this coins quality and eye appeal! also, do NOT confuse this type with the commoner centered 1795’s (PCGS pop 37).
