What a super example of a tremendously UNDER rated date. We unhesitatingly call this coin VERY high end. Extra strong mirrors beam from all over. The mirrors have excellent clarity, are surprisingly clean, and actually off strong flash. You do not have to imagine the mirrors exist. A wonderful thin band of original royal blue circles the entire obverse and some of the reverse. The centers are a lighter deep champagne/lavender color and are NOT dull or drab. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have a gentle silvery frost. The eye appeal is excellent! ONLY 800 were minted. PCGS 42, NGC 24, CAC 5. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $5,875.00 08/2015. Do not let the pops fool you, this is a tough date to find period, let alone as nice as this coin! Opportunity knocks loud here!
