We rate this near miss GEM an MS64.8! Just few hidden ticks on the arm from full GEM. Do not be fooled, its impossible to find really nice examples of this date.
Even when using a strong glass it is hard to find fault with this coin. The surfaces are exceptionally clean, smooth, and even have traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. A surprisingly strong luster highlights a beautiful and totally original mix of pewter/pale navy/pearl gray colors. Miss Liberty and every detail are pinpoint sharp in strike and do boldly stand out. The eye appeal is nothing less than amazing!
Do not be fooled by the slightly higher pops. The price we are asking for this coin is more than reasonable (especially when considering the quality and eye appeal).
