What a spectacular SUPER HIGH END GEM! We rarely every see any 1862 Proofs. This coin will be a star in ANY collection it resides in. Deep and wildly glittering mirrors beam from all over. The mirrors offer extreme clarity and are super clean. Using a strong glass all you will find is a light line or two. When you twirl the coin, its looks like a freshly formed sheet of ice. A killer thin band of blue/reddish gold frames the rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are thickly frosted (no imagination needed here). The eye appeal is totally breath taking! ONLY 550 were minted. PCGS 7, NGC 5, CAC 5. It is critical to note that PCGS has graded only 1 coins finer-and that last sold in 2007!
