$1 1870 PCGS PR65 CAMEO

On a scale of 1-10 in terms of quality and eye appeal. this coin is an 11! Really! The reflection of this coin is simply blinding. You can see the exceedingly deep mirrors from blocks away. In addition to the flash,  these mirrors have remarkably clarity and cleanliness. You can not twirl this coin with out wearing strong sunglasses. Wild and nearly fully electric original shades of crisp gold/blue/pale violet mix stunningly on the obverse. The reverse is a lighter version (it probably sat on felt). Miss Liberty and the details are so fully struck you think a surgeon chiseled them. In addition the frost is so thick the coin almost looks 3-D! The eye appeal really does fall in the OMG killer coin category! PCGS 13, NGC 10, CAC 5. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $19,975.00 back in 08/2013. This coin has few peers-in ANY date.  We’ve seen many PR66’s that don’t have this kind of heart stopping killer blast and colors. Why PCGS did not = it, is beyond us.  No hype here, seeing is believing!
