$1 1872 PCGS PR64+ CAMEO

No question this piece is an absolute borderline PR 65 Cameo. It has a ton of life too!

Deep mirrors beam boldly from all over. The mirrors offer tremendous clarity and are Extremely clean. You can see one small line on the right obverse, however even when using a glass there is nothing else worth mentioning. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have that deep rolling “watery” look. Some faint original apricot/rose colors highlight both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 15, NGC 10, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 5 in PR64+ Cameo. NO PCGS CAC PR64+ Cameo has ever sold via auction. A NON CAC PCGS piece brought $8,225.00 08/2015-also a forever ago time! We all know that coins like this have evaporated from the world!
