$1 1877-S PCGS MS-64

Another coin we bought from the world class “crackout” dealers blow out sale. We’ve handled the finest ever MS Trade Dollars (see the Legend set on the PCGS Registry we have built) and have never really seen one like this. No question at some point it was dipped. Geez, did it come out looking like the most monster coin you could imagine! The “crackout” dealer actually paid $6,000.00 for it. We do think its a small shot 65-but the “crackout” guys take big shots. Both sides blind you with flash. Very clean surfaces have traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. The luster makes the suns brilliance look dim. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and are fully struck. We can not say enough great things about this near GEM. If you don’t believe us as to how wild it is, ask to see it! The eye appeal WILL knock you out! PCGS 145-but few come close to this!
