$1 1878 TRADE PCGS PR65 CAMEO

We have handled many world class Proof Trade Dollars. Something about this GEM won’t let us put it down. It is wicked cool. Superior deep mirrors beam vividly from all over. The mirrors are crystal clear and have nearly blinding reflection. Only with a strong glass can you find a few light stray lines. These are some of the smoothest glassiest mirrors we have ever seen. Both sides have a faint hint of gold-but not deep enough to take away the stunning contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous! This is a PROOF ONLY date. only 900 were minted. PCGS 3, NGC 26, CAC 5. PCGS has graded 10 higher. According to our records, this is the ONLY PR 65 CAC piece to sever sell in auction (it brought $8,225.00 04/2016).  We can’t imagine the new owner won’t look at this beauty every day! We have!
