$1 1879CC CAPPED DIE PCGS MS64+
There is hardly any difference between this and a $50,000.00+ MS65. We have seen much worse in MS65 holders (Not CAC of course)! You really need to see this piece in person to believe it. Boldly semi-prooflike mirrors coverall the surfaces. They have tremendous flash and add to the already powerful luster. There are NO real marks anywhere. With a strong glass you can see light scattered die polishing lines (which do NOT affect anything as they are Mint made). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick creamy white frost. Her cheek is clean and will please the pickiest “old time” Morgan buyer. Of course the coin has never been messed with. The eye appeal is spectacular! PCGS 360, NGC 181, CAC 38. PCGS has graded only 20 MS64+ coins. The last one of these to sell (a PCGS CAC piece) brought $15,863.00 02/2016. Keep in mind, the next step up will cost you $50,000.00+ (we just sold one for that at the Dallas ANA Show to a dealer). Plus, we rarely see these with this much contrast with a non PL designation. This piece WILL easily please the pickiest buyer and be a tremendous addition to any Choice/GEM Collection. We KNOW it is priced more then fair. It is also proof that auction buying is not always the best route. Opportunity knocks booming loud here.
