WOW! We bought this coin from a collector who claims he has a better one. WOW again! We can not imagine a better 79CC PL. This is a FULLY BLACK AND WHITE STUNNER! We even though hard about cracking it and resubmitting it for a 65.
Unquestionably, this coin is just shy of FULL DMPL status. The mirrors are 6″ deep. They have tremendous clarity and reflectivity. They even are incredibly clean with just a few very teenie and widely scattered ticks. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick snow white frost. The eye appeal is absolutely spectacular!
We have a hard time believing these pops are correct: PCGS 73, NGC 55, CAC 7. No matter how picky you are, this coin WILL more than please you. It looks like a full BLACK AND WHITE DMPL!
The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $11,787.00 6/2010. Prior to that one sold for $13,800.00 03/2010 Heritage.
MOST IMPORTANT: This is a totally ORIGINAL coin! The cheek is not puttied, the mirrors are real, and it is NOT dipped out. A better one will cost you at least $25,000.00-and we can’t imagine one looking better than this!
