$1 1880-S PCGS MS67+PL

We can not stop looking at this amazing SUPERB GEM.  This coin clearly is a borderline MS68 PL and is really close to being a full DMPL. Deep 4″+ mirrors almost make full DMPL status. The mirrors are incredibly clean and sleek. There is some ever so slight toning all over. If you twirl the coin the flash of the semi watery mirrors will blow you away. Miss Liberty and the details look like they were carved from a frosted block of ice. Every detail is fully struck. The cheek is actually of MS69 quality! The eye appeal is awesome! PCGS 129, NGC 155, CAC 50. PCGS has graded only 12 coins MS67+ PL. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $2,585 in March 2016 while the one before it in 01/2016 (a weaker sale) brought $3,548.00. Even though this is an 1880-S, do NOT think for a minute in this state of preservation it is common. We assure you, this coin ranks in the top 5% for all 1880S ever graded!
