$1 1881CC PCGS MS64+DMPL

This is a full 8″ “no brainer” DMPL. There are a few ticks scattered around. ALL are tiny and do interfere with the grade or the eye appeal of the coin. The mirrors are dynamic and offer powerful reflectivity. Save for a slight patch of light toning on the face, both sides are untoned and have a full contrasted appearance. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is bold! PCGS 456, NGC 278, CAC 47).  In MS64+ DMPL PCGS has graded only 10 coins. The last one to sell in auction was a PCGS NON CAC piece. That coin brought $1,939.00 02/2014. We can tell you this, we bought only THREE DMPL’s after looking everywhere at the show.
