$1 1882-CC PCGS MS67
Lookie what we found! We have not owned one since 2016. We did buy one out of Sotheby’s for $15,000.00 earlier this year. on behalf of a customer. The coin we have here is a great coin too! Supreme surfaces are super clean and are satiny. Only with a strong glass can you find a tiny tick or frost break. A strong satiny like luster has hints of semi prooflike mirrors in some areas. The glow does come from all over. Both sides enjoy a thick creamy original white color. The rims on the obverse show a gorgeous thin band of blue/gold/pale violet colors. The reverse has some reddish gold/pale green in the lettering. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is terrific! PCGS 89, NGC 79, CAC 26. The Sotheby’s coin at $15,000.00 was the last 1882CC to sell in auction.Prior to that a normal one like this brought $9,100.00 05/2018. This for sure is a date and grade we do NOT see anymore. This coin will be a perfect fit into any SUPERB CC set or world class Morgan Collection.
