The obverse has your typical teenie ticks and a few light lines, while the reverse is very clean and borders on full MS65DMPL quality. Full 8″ mirrors have bold reflectivity. The ticks are average-not deep. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full strikes. This is NOT a dull or drab 1882 (as they typically come). The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 90, NGC 53, CAC 10. This date in TRUE black and white DMPL is very scarce. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell brought $1,437.00 01/2012 heritage. Good luck on finding another nice one like this!
