A DMPL with a twist-its got some peripheral toning!
Full 8″ deep mirrors beam boldly from all over. At first glance you think this coin is a proof. The mirrors are surprisingly clean and have serious clarity. When you twirl the coin the mirrors look like a new sheet of glass. The peripheries are loaded with a totally original blue/pale reddish gold toning. There is a single small Mint grease dot in the hair. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have have thick frost. The eye appeal is pretty cool!
PCGS 116, NGC 58, CAC 22. This coin has no peers since it has real and pretty original toning. Even with out toning, this is a date and grade we seldom see. Note: a nice piece just sold 04/2020 for $1,680.00.
