This is a handsome fully contrasted GEM DMPL. Deep 8″ mirrors beam boldly from all over. The mirrors do offer bold clarity. There are just a few very tiny and widely scattered ticks (as expected on a strongly mirrored coin). The reflection is booming. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. This piece was NOT struck from rusted dies. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 155, NGC 61, CAC 91. PCGS has graded 23 in MS65+ DMPL. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $2,350.00 08/2017.
