Finally a very pleasing DMPL came our way. We thought we’d never see any more.
Deep 8″ mirrors beam vividly from all over. The mirrors have good clarity, have just a few trivial tiny scattered ticks, and are highly reflective. You twirl the coin and the mirrors shine right back at you. The contrast is strong. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is nice!
PCGS 93, NGC 53, CAC 21. The last regular 1885 PCGS MS66 DMPL CAC that sold in auction brought $4,250.00 01/2016. Do NOT let the pops fool you, these are hard to find this nice.
