This coin is so close to full DMPL, we actually resubmitted it. Obviously PCGS felt its still no better than a deep prooflike. We’re ok with it, as it is such a nice coin!
Fully deep 4″+ mirrors do border DMPL depth. They have a few light ticks and giggles on the obverse while the reverse is full MS64+ cleanliness. The mirrors also have superior clarity, depth, and stunning reflectivity (get out the Ray Bans). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick snowy white frost. Her cheek is clean and is unmessed with. The eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 8, NGC 8, CAC 3. Of course there are NONE finer. There has NEVER been a PCGS/CAC MS64PL sold at auction. In fact, the last PCGS 64PL to sell was back in 2007! 89CC’s are non existent these days-especially beaned. Opportunity knocks loud here if you are building a choice CC set or love Morgans!
