No question this is a genuine full Proof. The mirrors are miles deep and have amazing clarity. Of course there are NO imperfections on them. The only thing holding this coin back from a PR67 (yes PR67) is a small cut HIDDEN on the cheek). Both sides are tremendously reflective. A visually seductive combination of ORIGINAL greens/blues/purple/violets/gold colors all swirl evenly over the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is spectacular!

ONLY 12 pieces were ever minted. This coin ranks as the second finest. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There is a PCGS PR66. It should be noted a PR64 SOLD for $184,000.00 back in 2011. The $218,500.00 we paid for this coin out of the ANA Philadelphia sale now seems like a bargain. There are NO major Morgan Dollar rarities like this to be found these days. A NGC PR66 1895O sold for over $500,000.00 (we’d much rather have an CC vs an O Mint any day). We wish we could keep this coin forever-but sadly we have to make some room in our inventory.
