A wonderful SUPERB GEM 1897! We can’t tell you how difficult it can be to find a PCGS CAC MS67. It was the last coin we needed to complete the Coronet Morgan Set (the former #1 set).
This coin is truly superb. Its surfaces are cleaner then what you would find on most of the commoner Morgans. The texture is a sleek yet delicate satiny layer. A full booming luster beams from all over. Both sides are crisp original white. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. Her cheek will please any “old timer”. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 69, NGC 93, CAC 8. In 2019, 2 PCGS CAC pieces sold-$7,800.00 and $10,868.00. An interesting note: prior to 2018, you have to go all the way back to 2014 when the last one sold. From our own experience we know how difficult finding this date and grade can be. Opportunity knocks so loud here!
