The mirrors are so deep you do see a few scattered ticks and lines. None are serious or upset the coins looks. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like freshly made aluminum. 1897S DMPL’s do NOT come looking like 1880S’s do. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have a light silvery frost. The eye appeal is bold and flashy!
