Cover the date and your thinking 80S! This is a real full mirrored 99S borderline GEM DMPL!
Full 8″ mirrors are clear and have a few superficial and scattered ticks (as to be expected). NONE are eye following or detract from the grade. The surfaces do appear glassy. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is super! We have seen MANY 99S DMPL’s and have rejected most. This coin in our opinion is definitely in the top 5% for the grade!
PCGS 23, NGC 20, CAC 4 (only ONE higher). PCGS has graded only 2 in GEM MS65 DMPL. The last CAC coin to sell in major auction brought $3,853.00 Stacks 2011. You will not find many 99S DMPL’s this nice!
