$1 1902 PCGS PR67
VERY HIGH END! This date and grade are far rarer and hard to find nice then most collectors realize. Superior deep mirrors vividly beam from all over. They are exceptionally clean, clear, and have bold reflectivity. The mirrors look like a huge pool of water swashing around when you twirl the coin. Both sides have a totally original mix of deeper navy/purple that open to silver areas. This is NOT a dull or crusty coin. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is great! ONLY 777 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 11, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 3 coins higher. The highest grade Cameo is ONLY a PR66. The last $1 1902 PCGS PR 67 to sell in a major auction brought $13,800.00 08/2011-4.5 years ago! We can’t stress enough how RARE this coin is. In 2008 this was a $20,000.00 coin. Think about this, PCGS is now 30 years of operations. They have graded only 4 coins in PR67-and in Cameo, they are even rarer! This is yet another coin the market has spanked the value down.
