This coin looks like this coin sat undisturbed since the day it left the bank 96 years ago! Pristine surfaces are clearly visible all over. We did use a really strong glass and found only a few tiny ticks and a light small scuff/frost break on the neck. There was NOTHING to write about on the rest of the coin.  A decent luster and very visible beams from all over. Both sides are evenly toned a moderate totally original pale golden brown/pale rose/pale olive colors. This coin is NOT dull, dark, or drab. Most important, without a glass, you can clearly see how 100% struck all the details are. Even on white coins you do not see strikes like this. The “deep dish” look is clear to see. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 1518, NGC 1197, CAC 251. The last PCGS piece to sell which was NOT CAC brought $4,080.00.  It was more whitish, but it did NOT have a strike anywhere near the coin offered here. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $2,880.00 01/2019. If you love original toning, then this coin is a “must see”!
