$1 1927-D PCGS MS65+

We’re not sure what is keeping this from a MS66 designation and being worth $40,000.00+! We do very much grade this coin MS65.8+. Technically, this coin sure looks MS66. The surfaces are immaculate. They are smooth and ONLY with a strong glass reveal a frost break or two. The luster is strong. It brings out the 100% originality of the coin. Both sides are a SUPERB GEM white-this is not a dipped out coin. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is great (we LOVE looking at the cleanliness of this coin and have trouble putting it away)! PCGS 185, NGC 78, CAC 38. PCGS has graded 13 in MS65+. This was the coin that sold back in 04/2013 for $9,987.00. We assure you, this coins ranks as  one of the very BEST MS65+ in existence! The next step up costs at least $32,000.00-if you can even find one. A “must see” if you are building a top set. Legend would very much include this coin in ANY set we would build.
