Oh WOW! This coin is really knocking on MS66 door. One look and we had to own it.
Superior surfaces are only reveal some trivial tiny frost breaks on the obverse. The reverse has a few trivial ticks-that can only be seen with a strong glass. Overall, the surfaces are satiny smooth. A strong glowing luster beams from all over. Both sides enjoy a totally original creamy white color with some faint hints of gold. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 93, NGC 80, CAC 22. PCGS has graded 7 in MS65+. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher. We just sold a regular and nice PCGS MS65 PCGS CAC for $8,500.00. The current Collectors Universe Value is only $23,500.00. Anything above MS65 becomes impossible to find. We can’t stress enough how hard to find a really beautiful piece like this is. A PCGS CAC MS66 that is white is an easy $50,000.00++ coin-if you can even find one!
You can complete a PCGS CAC Peace set in MS64+-MS65+. Its a good project. This coin is seriously above and beyond the typical 1927-S. It belongs in a top set!
