1/2C 1856 PCGS PR64 J-177

$3,950.00

R-5 Pattern 31-75 MINTED Struck in copper nickel. This is another coin we wonder as to why PCGS did not +. The coin really IS that high end. Both sides do have bold mirrors that beam from all over. The mirrors display absolute clarity and cleanliness. You do not have to imagine the reflection. A wonderful and totally original copper nickel color evenly covers both sides. There are NO spots or lines visible. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is wonderful! PCGS 15, NGC 6, CAC 4. The last one to sell in auction brought $3,819.00 02/2014. Now think about this, a regular 1856 Proof Half Cent PCGS PR64 (NO CAC) last sold for $4,700.00 06/2017. The pop was PCSG 11, NGC 5. The mintage was 225. For sure, we believe the pattern is a great value today! WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE
