$10 1797 LE PCGS MS61

Our eyes must have jumped out of their sockets when we saw this coin. Not only is it beautiful, it is extremely high end! 220 years old and it looks so wicked good. The surfaces are sensational. They are above average in quality. Just a few trivial ticks and lines can be seen. Even using a strong glass reveals NO surprises. Mint made die polishing lines are very light and do NOT stand out. We do grade the reverse full MS62. The surfaces are not only intensely lustrous, they are also slightly prooflike. Both sides are gorgeous brilliant gold color. There is a small patch of reddish gold around 11-12:00 on the obverse. Miss Liberty and every detail are sharply struck and do enjoy generous frost. The eye appeal of this coin is amazing! PCGS 61, NGC 29, CAC 3. NO PCGS CAC MS61 has ever been auction. Note: AN MS 62 PCGS CAC piece did sell for $97,750.00 way back in 08/2010. We think every early gold coin in REAL MS like this should be worth at least $100,000.00. This coin represents a great example of a very tough grade to find nice. Opportunity knocks loud here!
