What a stunning coin! This piece actually exhibits slight cameo contrast. The quality is super high end too. Superb surfaces are no hacked up or dirty like you will typically find. Just a few light lines and tiny ticks are visible. There are a few adjustment marks on the reverse on the shield. Not only does this coin have an intense luster, it is also boldly semi-prooflike. This coin has NOT been messed with in any way. Both sides are a gorgeous brilliant yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and every detail is super frosty and has an exceptional strike. The eye appeal is awesome! PCGS 21, NGC 16, CAC 4. This coin last sold for $79,312.00 in 9/2014. Why the price drop? We believe the crack guy were chasing it. A collector ended up buying it-and we just bought it from him as he needed out to fund something else. Finding one so nice and PCGS CAC is nearly impossible.
