$10 1839/8 TYPE OF 1838 PCGS MS61

$47,500.00

We are pleased to own and offer this exceptional piece. No question it is VERY HIGH END!

Above average surfaces dominate both sides. Only when using a strong glass can you scattered pinpoint ticks and a small die chip. There is a surprisingly strong luster that beams boldly from all over. Both sides are a natural even gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!

To confirm, this coin is a real deal MS61, not an AU61.

PCGS 5, NGC 5, CAC 1. The extreme rarity of this date in MS is indisputable. There are NO auction record for any PCGS CAC selling. In fact the last 1839/8 to appear at auction was back in 2010!  Some how CAC had a value of $45,600.00. We paid a lot of money for this coin because it is a lot of coin and is really, really rare. CAC has only beaned 3 higher (there is a 65 that we paid $650G for last year. The 66 is worth over $1 million.

Once this coin is gone, good luck finding anything similar for a very long time!
