$10 1869 PCGS AU55

Item# 53979

At first glance, this boldly prooflike coin looks like a lower grade Proof. The quality is all there and then some!

Insane fully mirrored surfaces are bold. There are a few shallow mirrored areas, but over all the mirrors are booming. A full luster also makes the few scattered tiny ticks/lines stand out a little (NONE are significant). Both sides are a totally original even gold with pale copper color highlights around the rims and devices. Miss Liberty and every detail are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent and flashy.

ONLY 1830 were ever minted. PCGS 8, NGC 7, CAC 1. Here is an incredible stat: THIS IS THE ONLY 1869 IN ANY GRADE BEANED BY CAC.  After 35+ years of operation, PCGS has only graded 2 coins higher! A NON CAC PCGS piece sold in auction for $12,925.00 back in 2016.  Obviously, the piece offered here is worth much more. We can’t scream loud enough as to the extreme rarity of this date and grade. We doubt you will ever find a similar coin!
