This is a zesty and fresh looking coin (vs the ugly toned hoard coins). The quality is HIGH END!
Superior surfaces are satiny and are clean overall. Only when you use a strong glass can you see a scattered tick or two. There is nothing serious. A glowing moderate luster beams from all over. Both sides are an original gold/pale orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is beautiful!
PCGS 24, NGC 10, CAC 14. The last one to sell in auction brought a crazy $14,400.00 02/2020. BUT prior to that one brought $12,925.00 back in 2013. We admit, its not 2013. This is a hard coin to pin a value on. We think the published values are too low ($5,000.00 for this coin). One thing we assure you, the hoard coins are not of quality like this, and the few that are, will be no where near as nice looking!
