We can not take our eyes off this near miss GEM. We wonder what PCGS saw to not make it a MS64. It is an ULTRA high end coin!
Remarkable surfaces are just that. They have some scattered and extremely minor ticks that can only be seen by a strong glass. Even the bold semi prooflike mirrors do not make the ticks stand out. The surfaces are slightly satiny yet are sleek. A full booming luster enhances both sides. Killer shades of GEM Original yellow gold highlights both sides. There are no spots or discolorations. The eye appeal is awesome and then some!
PCGS 286, NGC 129, CAC 20. PCGS has graded only 28 in MS63+. The current Collectors Universe Value $1,600.00. We fully agree since #1, There has not been a PCGS CAC piece sold via auction since 2012. The incredible quality and eye appeal of this coin is undisputed!
