Hard to believe an $10 from 1893 is consider a “commoner” coin. We think its great these are so affordable! This coin is solid for the grade.
Only a few very light ticks/scuffs are visible. Nothing is deep or is distracting. The luster is surprisingly strong. Both sides are light greenish/deeper gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 398, NGC 786, CAC 48. Interestingly the last 1893 MS64 to sell in auction was an NGC coin. It brought $1,740.00 02/2020. These certainly do NOT appear with any frequency. Can’t find many 1890’s $10’s this cheap any more (let alone find any)!
