Every thing about this lovely GEM is totally SUPERB! This coin is the FINEST graded at PCGS! It was formerly in the Hall/Simpson $10 Lib set-the former #1 all time collection.
Thick satiny surfaces are extra clean and smooth overall. A thick luster also beams from all over. No question everything about this GEM is totally original. Both sides are a deeper yellow gold/pale orange gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full crisp strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 3, NGC 25, CAC 3. This is the ONLY PCGS MS65+ graded. PCGS has graded NONE higher. NGC has a MS66 (possibly). This coin was sold totally unreserved in Legend Auctions Sept sale for $8,225.00-an absolute steal. The current Collectors Universe Value is $12,500.00.
