$10 1899 PCGS MS64
This is a very pleasing and HIGH END piece. Remarkable surfaces are super clean and have thick satiny like texture. Only when using a strong glass can you see some frost breaks and a small (and we mean small) tick in the right obverse field. A good luster glows from all over. There is a small grease mark at 2:00 on the rims. Both sides are a totally original pale gold/deep gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 543, NGC 1395, CAC 92. The last PCGS CAC to sell in auction was way back in 2012. That coin brought $1,762.00. We buy and sell based on today’s current prices. With gold reawakening and this date and grade having so few appearances, it sounds like a great value today.
