Outstanding surfaces display nothing more then a few light and scattered ticks/frost breaks (you really need to use a glass to see them). The texture is thick and satiny. A full booming luster can be seen for miles. The luster greatly enhances the marvelous mix of honey gold/gold that swirls all over. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details stand out with crisp sharp strikes. The eye appeal is memorable and fabulous!
PCGS 2, NGC 5, CAC 1. PCGS has graded only 1 66, 1 67, and the remarkable MS68+ (owned by Bob Simpson). A NON CAC PCGS MS65 sold for $22,325.00 06/2017 (NOT this coin). The lone MS66 sold for $47,000.00 01/2014 and it is not CAC. As you can see, even NON CAC pieces in GEM of this date date carry strong values.
If you buy better GEM gold or collect $10 Liberty Gold, this a coin more then worthy of your consideration and addition to your cabinet!
