No question this coin is more then worthy of its designation.
Outstanding surfaces appear clean and satiny smooth. Only with a strong glass can you find a few stray lines and a tiny tick or two. NONE are severe or are big at all. An impressive and nearly blinding cartwheel like luster beams from all over. Both sides are a splended original gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are all sharply struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 6, NGC 10, CAC 1. PCGS has graded 3 in MS65+. There is only ONE CAC piece in MS66. The last time this coin it brought $7,344.00 05/2018. The rarity of this coin in true GEM is proven. Of course a few coins that don’t deserve the label make it look like there are more GEM’s then they’re really are. Opportunity knocks loud here!
