If this coin is so HIGH END then why isn’t a MS66? We sure do not know-and we DID resubmit it to PCGS. We can’t believe it did not even +. Whatever, the coin is still amazing to us!
Absolutely ORIGINAL, problem free, and clean surfaces have a superior satiny texture. There are NO spots anywhere. The color is a gorgeous deep yellow gold. A strong luster adds to the color and cleanliness. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is incredible!
PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 3. We purchased this out of a recent Heritage sale for $23,000.00. Prior to that, the last time one of these appeared in major public auction was 7 years ago: 08/2004 Heritage. The coin back then brought $13,800.00. We can tell you (having just bought the #1 MS Set of $10 Libs), this is a VERY undervalued date and grade!
