Great coin! The grade as a 64+ is dead on. This is a clearly above average 1906-D!
Overall, the surfaces are clean and smooth. Only with a strong glass can you see a few light scuffs and scattered ticks (VERY minor). A solid luster beams from all over. Both sides are a deeper even gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are gently frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 221, NGC 142, CAC 46. PCGS has graded 18 in MS64+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $3,840.00 08/2019. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, this is a very scarce date in MS64 and should NOT be ranked as common like an 01S. The last MS 65 PCGS CAC brought $10,281.00 07/2018.
