We do not see many GEMS like this anymore. It is totally original and has that ‘thick” original look.
Both sides are smooth and lustrous. A gorgeous mix of “thick” gold/pale orange gold color covers the surfaces and looks a little two tone. There are NO spots or stains. This coin has never been dipped. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is sensational!
PCGS 12, NGC 80, CAC 1. PCGS has graded NONE higher. The last one to sell in major public auction brought $8,050.00 4/08 Heritage. Not a date we see offered frequently in GEM.
