WOW! These are beautiful to begin with, let alone finding one so GEM as this!
Only a tiny mark on the reverse is what we think keeps this coin from being a full MS66. Overall, the surfaces have a few light frost breaks but NO problems. The surfaces are also a thicker satiny texture. The luster is good and visible. Both sides are a totally original even gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. They really do stand out. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 62, NGC 32, CAC 11. PCGS has graded only 5 coins in MS65+. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $99,875.00 FOUR FULL YEARS AGO in 2014. The last WE we bought and sold was the amazing CAC pop 1 MS67-and we paid OVER $400,000.00 for that.
These do not grow on trees. They do have a tremendous demand. Prides for these simply do not crash. With the market heating up and so few around, the timing to buy one could not better.
