This is a VERY HIGH END example of a date that’s next to impossible to find in GEM. MS65’s do NOT look much better then this!
Super satiny and smooth surfaces reveal NO major ticks, giggles, or frost breaks. A strong luster enhances ORIGINAL deep yellow gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is tremendous for an 08-D. This coin looks better than many 1932s in MS65 that we’ve seen!
PCGS 58, NGC 29, CAC 12. PCGS has graded 6 in MS64+. We purchased this coin from our 10/20 auction for $18,800.00. We know the rarity of this date in GEM (we have built the #1+2 finest sets ever).
