$10 1916S PCGS MS64+
$19,500.00
As most of you know, we ONLY believe in the + when the coin really is virtually the next grade up. We will NOT buy ANY coin that is not HIGH END that has a +! This coin is all there and then some in that regard.
Save for a small (and we mean small and invisible) frost break on the upper cheek, we see NO other reason why this coin is not graded an MS65. We all have seen worse in MS65 holders. The surfaces are super satiny and are remarkably clean. A strong “satiny” luster shows off wonderful even ORIGINAL gold colored surfaces. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is truly exceptional!
PCGS 36, NGC 31, CAC 7. This is only the second MS64+ graded. The other one sold in auction for $21,150.00 10/12 Heritage. Do not be fooled by the pops-this date does NOT appear in any frequency as a regular MS64. Opportunity knocks so loud its deafening for the astute $10 Indian Collector!
