This is a beautiful SUPERB GEM. Owning a piece like this will bring you much pride-even if you just want a generic.
SUPERB GEM surfaces are hard to find any better. They look satiny smooth. Only when using a strong glass can you find a grease dot an a few light frost breaks on the reverse. A strong luster beams from all over. Both sides enjoy a totally original pale orange/gold color (clearly two tone). There are NO discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
PCGS 1572, NGC 2388, CAC 181. PCGS has graded 103 in MS65+. In PCGS CAC these coins do NOT appear with any frequency like you would think. In this market, at this price, this coin is a “no brainer” to buy.
