Really interesting coin. The clipped off area by 2:00-3:00 on the rim area is clear as can be. It is actually not that big. The rest of the coin is full MS66 quality. No question this coin was carefully saved because of its special clip.

Superb surfaces are pretty clean overall. With a strong glass you will find alight frost break or two. There is some Mint made die clashing visible as well. A decent luster is visible. Both sides are a totally original olive/pewter/champagne colors. This is NOT a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck save for minor weakness on the left obverse stars. The eye appeal is really excellent!

Stats for a regular MS66: PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 4. The last PCGS example (NO CAC) to sell brought $76,375.00 05/15 at the Pogue sale. This coin last sold in 2008 for $69,000.00 in a Heritage auction. Opportunity knocks really loud here!  This is really a wonderful coin.
